If you keep your proof of insurance & registration papers in your glove compartment (And I would certainly hope that as a good citizen you do) then this is a nice to have product. I’m a bit of a meticulous type so when I saw this product I said to myself this would go well in the glove compartment so that I don’t have to fumble through papers if & when I have to get out my registration. If you have to cross State lines or go through one of those “check points” you simple pop open the glove compartment & there it is. No papers to have to go through searching for it or anything.

After about 12 months, they get become a wrinkled mess, and the ink on the documents sticks to the inside of the windows. So I wind up throwing the thing out and buying a new one. I've probably gone through about a dozen of them this way. Fortunately, they're cheap so I suppose if you're willing to replace the wallet every time you get a new insurance card, they're okay. These plastic registration/insurance wallets are nice, but there’s a problem: the plastic windows they use to hold the documents in place don’t age well in a car that gets subjected to cold and heat. After about 12 months, they get become a wrinkled mess, and the ink on the documents sticks to the inside of the windows. So I wind up throwing the thing out and buying a new one. I’ve probably gone through about a dozen of them this way. Fortunately, they’re cheap so I suppose if you’re willing to replace the wallet every time you get a new insurance card, they’re okay. Right now I’m looking for a longer-lasting solution.

The product was made of poor materials, the pre-cut holes would not line up so you could not open the top or bottom. The glass front was bearly being held in place, the product was damaged, scratched and dented. Called to send back, first refused so I had to file a complaint with Amazon. Then they would not speak with me because I filed a complaint. Amazon then told me to ship it out and insure it. I sent it out and got it returned due to shipping damages "the box had boot prints and knuckle prints after it spent two days in the warehouse". Told me to file a claim. UPS told me that it should of been shipped in 4 inch thick styrofoam packaging "i shipped it the same exact was it was shipped to me" and since I was the shipper I was out of luck. Amazon said they would do nothing about it. You could seriously by this product from Wal-Mart for $99.99, it is pressboard with a really cheap oak wall-paper like covering. I will never deal with this company again. I am a single parent who desperately needed one car. I spent hours and hours with many dealers and most of the options that were informed to me were forgotton by the time I got home. I was very ashmaed to go back. I went to Barnes and Nobles and I got this book. It help me to recall my memory and more information about varities of areas which I do not know such as extented warrenty, graduate reduction, and about credit cards. I knew that if I did not read this hassle free car buying book, I would waste plenty of money for nothing. I also calculated how much money I can spend each month before brought a car. This book is very helpful and I encourage everyone to read this book before planning to buy a car. It is also a great resource. Especially teenagers who want to be independent and plan to buy a car should read this book before they meet a dealer. This book will help them to make decisions about whether they have to rent, buy, or lease,premium plan, according to their budget. It is also a future reference for many areas eventhough things are changing rapidly. You have the baseline information in your home. Compared to the knowledge you get from this book the Price is nothing.

Just as Location, Location, Location is the most important thing in real estate, Knowledge, Knowledge, Knowledge is most important when making a competent purchase. The more expensive the item being purchased, the more important the knowledge.

A car is a very big item to purchase. The more you know, the better. Jake has made it possible to know more than ever the next time I, or you, go to buy a new car. I will have this book in my hip pocket and it will be well thumbed…unless, that is, I just let him do all the work for me on his new web site…oops, I maybe should not have let the cat out of the bag. It will be a great boost for us “marks” the next time we sit down across from the “super-shark” salesman.
